The food is always excellent, an outstanding accomplishment when you consider we typically have 500 or more people in attendance. The service our guests receive is excellent as well."

"Recently, I had to plan an event for my family (50 guests). I am not used to planning events such as this and had to do a lot of research myself. This all had to occur within one month. I found this venue online and it seems to be the best place considering the location and options. They were very accomodating and helpful. The communication was seamless. The event itself was very easy. The staff was very attentive and customer service oriented. Only complaint was that the bartender would need to be called back to the bar a few times, but then again the group was not drinking too much on this Sunday afternoon. They did an excellent job of setting up and creating the environment we had hoped for. The food was amazing, especially the mini-beef wellingtons! The prices are as what you would expect at any venue but the coordinator is very accommodating to your needs. The location is right off of the highway and the parking is very easy so its great for out of town guests (plus plenty of hotel rooms)"

Last minute additions and changes were not a problem. The food service was just what we ordered. Rick took care of all of our A/V needs per our specifications. Our event was a great success!!”

“Last Wednesday’s celebration for Hospice was a resounding success. The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn performed beautifully. The duet entrée was delicious as was the Bibb lettuce salad and the unique tri-dessert. Chef Carlos works wonders with food and, in my opinion, is the best chef of any venue in Michiana. The new sweep service was first class. I want to particularly congratulation Summer Holman for her keen attention to detail from the beginning phase of our planning through the end of Wednesday evening. It is comforting to have someone like Summer on site from start to finish. Carol did a fine job with her servers who are refreshing in their demeanor and willingness to accommodate to ensure that the evening’s meal was served warm and on schedule. So many of our guests expressed their compliments for the food and service.”

Perfect Place to Hold an Event, Stay & Dine
"We came to town to host a large reception honoring our beloved family member who passed away. The moment we walked in the front door a member of housekeeping welcomed us so warmly and genuinely that we knew everything was going to be ok. From Summer and Donna in sales/catering to the front desk, restaurant, and of course, housekeeping staff, we always were treated kindly. Summer worked with our budget to help us design a thoughtful menu and a banquet room that easily flowed in the attached Gillespie Center. (It really is convenient to host an event AND stay on the same premises.) She thought of everything...even a coat check which we had forgotten. We felt so comfortable with Donna and her team that we were able to let go and focus on greeting our guests and sharing our time together, while her event staff made the magic happen. It was the perfect send-off that celebrated a great life. Our hotel rooms were ideal for all of our traveling family's and friends' needs. They gave us much needed rest in a very clean space at a reasonable price. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both were tasty and served by engaging and helpful waitstaff. We appreciated every aspect of our stay and will always carry the memory with us."
